Very sad news has just come in as veteran filmmaker John R. Cherry III has passed away. The creator of the Ernest P. Worrell character famously portrayed by late actor Jim Varney, Cherry had directed nearly every installment of theErnestmovie series which had undoubtedly left a big impact on pop culture. On the officialErnestFacebook page, a statement was posted announcing that Cherry had died on Sunday after a battle with Parkinson’s disease....

Lori Loughlintook a heavy hit financially after her home was targeted by burglars. As reported byTMZ, the house Loughlin shares with husband Mossimo Giannulli was burglarized on January 3rd and was later discovered by a housekeeper. Loughlin and Giannulli were not home at the time and the police don’t yet know if their home was specifically targeted, possibly due to Loughlin’s celebrity status, or if it was a random burglary....

Manifestseason 4 might be happening on Netflix after all. As of now, Netflix is reportedly closing in on a deal after “complex negotiations” with Warner Bros. Television to order a fourth season of the hit sci-fi series. The studio has also started negotiations with theManifestcast along with a mix of new and returning writers for season 4. Things could still change heading into the end here, but things certainly look much more promising now than they did earlier this summer....

The Studioco-creators, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, premiered their Apple TV+ series at the 2025 SXSW Film & TV Festival on Mar. 7, where they also appeared onstage to discuss the project as part of a Q&A after the screening. The duo were joined by several members of the star-studded cast, having worked withan impressive roster of talenton the satirical comedy. Renowned filmmaker Martin Scorsese wasn’t in attendance despite having a cameo on the show, but Rogen did share some insight into what it was like to work with him....

We knew this was coming. Marvel is officially shutteringMarvel TV, its small screen division which saw a major shakeup earlier this year. Marvel Television will no longer be making any new TV series beyond what is already being produced. And those current shows will be folded into Marvel Studios, home to the current MCU. With the shuttering of Marvel TV also comes the elimination of many jobs at this particular division....

And starting this morning, there are a whole lot of new shows on the streaming app. Disney also launched a fun new trailer for everything coming out over the span of the next 12 months.
