While the show has been called a “prequel” in the past, since it explores the beginning of the zombie outbreak in Los Angeles, executive producer and showrunner Dave Erickson revealed thatFear the Walking Deadis a “parallel story” toThe Walking Dead, exploring how the zombie outbreak plays out on a different side of the country....

With production currently under way onFear the Walking Dead Season 3in Baja, Mexico, AMC has released the first three photos and the official synopsis for these new episodes. The photos give us our first look at returning characters Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) and Travis Manawa (Cliff Curtis), while Nick (Frank Dillane) is seen comforting a terrified Luciana (Danay Garcia). STX Entertainment has delayed the release of two of their upcoming summer movies. BothThe Happytime MurdersandMile 22have been bumped back slightly, but are both still arriving in theaters this August. These moves shouldn’t necessarily be cause for concern, assuming you’re excited about either or both of these late summer releases. It seems to be more of a strategic repositioning by STX. Your scheduled Mark Wahlberg action movie and R-rated Melissa McCarthy puppet comedy should be coming more or less as intended, just slightly later....

Remember all those fluttery, gushy, heartfelt vibes you felt when you first tuned intoHeartstopperin April 2022? They’re about to make a comeback. So hug a couch pillow and grab some Kleenex, because you’re bound to laugh and tear up (again) when the Netflix series premieres Aug. 3. There is already great news going into season two: the series, which is based on the graphic novel by Alice Oseman and produced by See-Saw Films, has already been picked up for a third season....

It was announced by director J.J. Abrams yesterday that he’d officially wrapped shooting onStar Wars 9, which will be in theaters at the end of the year.
