Tragedy recently struck the set of the CW’sBatwomanTV series, as production assistant Amanda Smith has been left paralyzed from the waist down following a devastating on-set accident. According to a GoFundMe page created by her friends to help alleviate her financial burden, the incident occurred on March 11, just days before production on the series was completely shut down in relation to the spread of the coronavirus. Unable to hear the machine because of the traffic, a “bucket of a lift lowered onto her head,” afflicting Smith with serious injuries resulting in emergency spinal surgery....
