A collection of new posters forBlack Adamintroduces us tothe latest DC superhero team, the Justice Society of America. Released courtesy ofDC Comics, the posters give us a detailed look at the four members of the JSA, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, and Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate.
One Night in Miamistar Aldis Hodge leads the Justice of America as Carter Hall AKA Hawkman. An archaeologist who discovers that he is the reincarnation of an Egyptian prince, Hawkman has the power of flight from his stunning metal wings, and is a great and proficient warrior.
Next up isQuintessa Swindell as Maxine Hunkel AKA Cyclone, the granddaughter of former hero Red Tornado, who can control wind and generate sound. While maintaining the same color scheme, her costume has gone through major (and justifiable) changes in the leap from the pages of DC Comics to live action.
To All the Boys I’ve Loved Beforestar Noah Centineo joins the JSA as Albert “Al” Rothstein AKA Atom Smasher, who can control his molecular structure and manipulate his size and strength. Which will no doubt bring similar visual surprises toBlack Adamas Ant-Man does to The Avengers.
Finally,James BondstarPierce Brosnan will join the world of comic book movies as Kent Nelson AKA Doctor Fate. A member of the JSA and the son of an archaeologist (it seems that the JSA is cat-nip to archaeologists), Nelson was taught the ways of sorcery and was given the magical Helmet of Fate. For ease, think of Doctor Fate as being the DC version of fellow clinician, Marvel’sDoctor Strange.
Based on the recent trailer forBlack Adam, the Justice Society of America will come to blows with the antihero, played by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, as Doctor Fate and the rest of the group attempt to convince the all-powerful god to fight for the side of truth and justice.
