To get fans ready for theUntitled X-Files Revival, Fox has released a new trailer for a marathon ofThe X-Files, which includes our first look atGillian Andersonas Dana Scully andDavid Duchovnyas Fox Mulder in action. The “marathon” won’t actually be airing on Fox, but if you start with the pilot episode of the originalX-Filesseries, and watch one episode a day for the next 201 days, on either streaming or DVD platforms, it will lead directly into the revival series debuting on January 24. Production is already under way on theUntitled X-Files Revivalin Vancouver.

The X-Filesoriginally premiered in September 1993. Over the course of its nine-season run, the influential series went from breakout sci-fi favorite to massive global hit, and became one of the most successful television dramas of all time. The show, which earned 16 Emmy Awards, five Golden Globes and a Peabody Award, follows FBI special agents Scully and Mulder, as they investigate unexplained cases - “X-Files” - for which the only answers involve paranormal phenomena.
