It’s been confirmed that season 4 ofHarley Quinnwill premiere on HBO Max in 2023. Originally, the adult animated series premiered its first two seasons in 2019 and 2020 on the defunct streaming service DC Universe before making the move to HBO Max ahead of season 3. The wait for that third season would take more than two years, finally premiering on HBO Max in July. The next month, it was officially renewed for season 4.
On Wednesday, Disney released a new sizzle reel featuring content that’s upcoming for 2023. Included isHarley Quinnseason 4, along with our first look at the upcoming episodes. Also featured in the reel is footage for new seasons and premieres of other shows coming in 2023, such asThe Last of Us,Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty,True Detective: Night Country,Barry,The Righteous Gemstones,Velma,Titans, and more.

Harley Quinnis developed by Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker, and Dean Lorey. The animated series features Kaley Cuoco as the voice of the titular supervillain with the voice cast also including Lak Bell, Alan Tudyk, Ron Funches, Tony Hale, and Jason Alexander.

A Valentine’s Day Special Is Also Coming
It was previously announced that the show will also present a Valentine’s Day special to hold fans over until the fourth season arrives. The special,dubbedHarley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special, will be coming this February. It follows Harley and Ivy celebrating their first Valentine’s Day together while “also revealing how the rest of the ragtag crew spends the gushiest, mushiest, most romantic day of the year.”
Still going strong ahead of season 4, the show’s creators have also teased that they have no endgame in sight, hoping to get a run that’s along the lines ofThe Simpsons.
“I would do the show as long as HBO Max and Warner Bros. want to make the show,” Schumacker told TVLine, pointing to the story potential found in the vast cast of characters. “The show’s calledHarley Quinn, but there’s thousands of characters that exist in the DC Universe that we really can just keep going. We want to beThe Simpsonsof the DCU.”
The first three seasons ofHarley Quinnare streaming on HBO Max. Season 4 will arrive in 2023 on a date yet to be determined, whileHarley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Specialwill premiere in February 2023.
