Audiences can now watchHalloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myersin one of the movie’s filming locations. More specifically, the Myers House, which inexplicably transformed from the normal suburban home of the first two installments to a gothic mansion. Here’s a description of the home from when the house wason the marketabout three years ago.
“This Victorian estate is one of the Avenues' historic masterpieces. It was designed by renowned architect Frederick Albert Hale, who also designed the original Salt Lake City Public Library as well as the Alta Club, the Eagles Club, and other iconic private and public structures. It served as a residence for several notable families before it was converted to apartments in the mid-1900s.”

“Since that time, it has functioned as a triplex, four-plex, five-plex, and a single-family home. It has ten bedrooms, five bathrooms, four kitchens, several living areas with two fireplaces, as well as a formal dining room and entryway. It’s one of those lovely, well-built homes with high ceilings, large solid-wood doors, stained-glass windows, intricate woodwork, and custom hardware, and it sits on a .39-acre corner lot in the coveted Avenues neighborhood.”
For those who don’t know or might need a bit of a refresher afterthirteen installments,Halloween 5was on the heels ofHalloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, which ended with Michael’s niece Jamie Lloyd (Danielle Harris) murdering her stepmother in a fashion that was identical to the way Michael murdered his older sister.
While that ending seemed to set Jaime up as the franchise’s new villain, the fifth installment wouldn’t follow up on that. Given the reception to films where Michael wasn’t the main killer, i.e.,Halloween III:Season of the WitchandHalloween Ends, you could argue that that was the right call. Instead, Jaime kept her role as Michael’s primary target and the final girl ofHalloween 5.
