There is no shortage of wild andwacky conspiraciesfloating around this country. Some believe that the elites who control powerful organizations are robots and possibly even lizard people or that shadowy groups guide the machinations of government like the Illuminati. The theories surrounding the truth of John F. Kennedy’s assassination are seemingly endless, and the decades since the tragedy have done nothing but exacerbate the speculation. Some folks even believe that an ape-like creature with massive feet roams the remote wilderness, and others that the planet Earth is flat.
The level of validity behind these conspiracies is varied. For example, we have all seen how strangely robotic Mark Zuckerberg acts. But what if all of these postulations were true? The Netflix original animated seriesInside Jobexplores this reality. Recently, it was announced that the show would be coming back for another season, and it can’t come soon enough. Audiences are ready to see more conspiracy theories come to life.

Here’s everything we know aboutInside Jobseason two.
Inside Job Season 2: The Plot
Season two ofInside Jobwill likely be defined by Reagan’s relationship with her deadbeat father, Rand. In the recently released first look at the series, audiences got a glimpse at Reagan’s sudden transformation into a rambling booze-hound, much like her father in the first season. The reason for her fall from grace is obvious.

At the end of season one, after former CEO J.R. Scheimpough was sent to a secret prison for embezzlement, Rand once again became the CEO of Cognito Inc, as he owns the most shares in the company. This comes as a shock to Reagan, who had previously been under the impression that she would take over as the new leader.
Given their strained relationship, there’s no telling what terrible assignments Rand will concoct for his daughter. Additionally, he is deeply jaded and paranoid, which will undoubtedly change how the company’s day-to-day operations will be carried out. Reagan is unlikely to let her anarchistic father slowly tear down the systems of power from the inside and will need to cooperate with her aggravating coworkers in order to remove him.
IfInside Jobis to be believed, controlled media, reptilians, and robot overlords are just another day at the office for some folks. It will be exciting to see what conspiracy theories are lampooned in the upcoming season. Regardless, shadow governance has never been this entertaining.
Inside Job Season 2: The Cast
Inside Jobhas an incredible list of talented voice actors. The main character, an antisocial tech aficionado named Reagan Ridley, is voiced by Lizzy Caplan (The Interview, The Disaster Artist). Her alcohol-soaked father, Rand Ridley, is the former CEO of the mysterious Cognito Inc, responsible for all the conspiratorial control that makes up the show. He isplayed by Christian Slater(Dirty John, Mr. Robot). Clark Duke (Hot Tub Time Machine, The Office) gives voice to Brett Hand, a well-connected D.C. insider with a frat boy past and little experience in high-stress roles. Tisha Campbell (Last Man Standing, Harley Quinn) is Gigi Luigi, a public relations professional responsible for controlling the nation’s media through propaganda and subliminal messaging.
The current Cognito Inc CEO, J.R. Scheimpough, is voiced by Andy Daly (Veep, Rick and Morty). Chris Diamantopoulos (Silicon Valley,The Boys Presents: Diabolical) is the replacement robot POTUS ROBOTUS. John DiMaggio (Futurama, Batman: Brave and the Bold) plays Glenn Dolphman, a human-dolphin hybrid who controls the company’s impressive arsenal of futuristic weaponry. Bobby Lee (Reservation Dogs, Magnum P.I.) gives voice to the drug-fueled chemist Dr. Andre Lee, and a sassy psychic Hollow Earth anthropomorphic mushroom named Magic Myc is portrayed by Brett Gelman (Fleabag, Stranger Things).

Inside Job’s first season also has a handful of hilarious guest stars. Alex Hirsch (Gravity Falls, Rick and Morty), the creator of the hitanimated seriesGravity Falls, voices Grassy Noel Atkinson, the real gunman behind the JFK assassination. His name is a play on the embankment where some conspiracy theorists speculate a second shooter was stationed. Cognito Inc’s HR head Elliot Mothman, who is actually a bug person, is portrayed by Ron Funches (BoJack Horseman, Adventure Time). While it’s unlikely that these characters, who were essentially one-off jokes, will return in the second season, there will certainly be more cameos from high-profile stars.
Currently, it appears that the entirety of this impressive cast will return for the upcoming second season. Each of the characters is essential to the series' comedic styling, and for the most part, every one of them gets under Reagan’s skin at one time or another. When the core cast gathers around a long table in the main office, a hilarious, insult-laden conversation is sure to follow.
