One of the many names revealed in the star-studdedInvincibleseason two trailer was Tatiana Maslany, best known for the many characters that she played onOrphan Black. Her casting inInvinciblealso comes on the heels of Maslany joining the MCU as Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk. OnInvincible, Maslany already showed up in the Atom Eve (Gillian Jacobs) spin-off special that was released to tide fans over until the start of the second season. However, it was recently revealed that in addition to her role there, Maslany will also be voicing two other characters in the second season as well.
In theAtom Eveepisode, Maslany played Queen Lizard, the then current leader of the Lizard League. They are a group of super villains themed after lizards, who show up at the start of the special to fight the Guardians of the Globe and Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons). Queen Lizard is also notable for being the mother of the Lizard League’s current leader, King Lizard, or Prince Lizard as he was referred to as in the prequel episode.

One of her upcoming characters in the second season of the show is General Telia, “a decorated general for the Coalition of Planets with a zero-tolerance policy for Viltrumite aggression. She keeps her private life private—for now.” Assuming the show follows the comics, the reason why Telia keeps her private life private is because she’s in a relationship with a character viewers and readers have already met. None other than Allen the Alien (Seth Rogen).
Invincible Creator Unveils the Impact of Omni-Man’s Departure in Season 2
Invincible creator Robert Kirkman shares exclusive take on what lies ahead for Season 2.
Who Else Tatiana Maslany Will Be Playing in Invincible Season 2
Allen is a Unopian and another member of the Coalition of Planets, who met Mark Grayson/Invincible (Steven Yeun) and Omni-Man due to mistaking Earth for Urath. His planet was also destroyed by the Viltrumite Empire when they wouldn’t submit to their role, forcing the Unopians to repopulate themselves using breeding camps. It’s for those reasons that physical love is forbidden among Unopians, especially with a member of a different species like Telia.
The other upcoming character that Maslany will be playing is Queen Aquaria, who is the “sole monarch of the Atlanteans and their undersea kingdom after her husband, AQUARUS, was murdered by Omni-Man. A beloved leader who rules with an iron fin, she seeks retribution for her husband’s death—through unconventional means.” That description implies that the show will be following the events of the comic, which the following paragraph will now spoil.

As well as revealing her roles, a pair of new images fromInvincibleseason two featuring both these characters have also been released. Check them out below:
What happens in the comic is thatsince Omni-Man killed her husband, Aquaria demands that Invincible marry her, which involves a big ceremony where the two of them will have to copulate at the very end of it, in front of the whole kingdom. Mark is reluctant to do that for obvious reasons, but there is a loophole in that he only has to marry Aquaria as long as a suitable mate hasn’t been found. So then all he has to do is find a suitable mate.

Invincibleseason two debuts on Prime Video on November 3.
