This news comes just one day after another report claimed that Brainiac, Bizarro andSupergirlwill all be a part ofMan of Steel 2. This report also reiterates a longtime rumor that the “main physical threat” inBatman v Supermanwill be a cross between Bizarro and Doomsday. The site claims thatLex Luthorcreates Doomsday after experimenting with the genes from General Zod’s corpse. In the comics, Bizarro was also created by Luthor, who was trying to clone Superman, while Doomsday “was the result of mad science.' None of this has been confirmed quite yet, and it seems unlikely that we’ll get any official confirmation before the movie hits theaters.

In the comics, Brainiac is an android, believed to be one of the most intelligent beings, human or otherwise, on the face of the Earth. His abilities include telekinesis and control over all forms of technology, along with the ability to produce force fields. In several of his comic book arcs Brainiac moves from planet to planet, assimilating, capturing, or simply destroying entire civilizations.
