The comedians are reuniting on the big screen with their action-packed comedyKeanu, with Warner Bros. andComedy Centralreleasing the firstred band trailerand poster below. There will be plenty of R-rated language below, so be sure to watch at your own risk.

Keegan Michael KeyandJordan Peelestar as Clarence and Rell, two cousins and best friends who live in the city but aren’t exactly street-savvy. After a devastating break-up, Rell finds solace when a lost kitty appears at his doorstep, whom he namesKeanuafterJohn WickstarKeanu Reeves. When Rell’s apartment is broken into and littleKeanuis stolen by a street gang, these nerdy friends must act like hardened gangsters in an attempt to get the kitten back.

Gabrielle Unionalso stars as Clarence’s wife, who wishes her polite lawyer husband would assert himself more in their marriage, and, from the looks of this trailer, gets more than she bargained for.Method Manportrays as the gangster who kidnapped the cat, withStraight Outta ComptonstarJason Mitchellalso appearing in an unspecified role. The supporting cast also includesNia Long,Luis Guzmán,Will ForteandRob Huebel.

Peter Atencio, who directed 54 episodes ofKey & Peele, makes his featuredirectorial debutwithKeanu, working from a script byJordan Peeleand Alex Rubens. Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema have set an April 29release datefor this comedy, putting it up againstMother’s Day,Ratchet & ClankandSame Kind of Different as Me. The comedy also opens just one week beforeCaptain America: Civil Warkicks off the summer movie season on May 6.
