Created by novelist Raymond Chandler in 1939, the world of Phillip Marlowe has been adapted for the screen before, many times in fact, with the character’s most well-known appearance on the silver screen being inThe Big Sleepin 1946, in which acting legend Humphrey Bogart portrayed the detective. So, Neeson has a lot to live up to, with the actor, of course, bringing his penchant for throwing punches and elbows along for his interpretation.
