TheMCUhas a vast roster of characters, including iconic superheroes, infamous villains, and memorable supporting characters. The social media post, recirculating the face of the forgotten figure, went viral after being flooded with responses all asking one question, “Who is that?”

The post, shared by X/Twitter user NitroSpidey, sent everyone’s head into a spin as it featured a poster for a character who was supposedly part of theAnt-Manthreequel. The image spotlights a furry-faced creature who appears to prioritize their hair-care routine over fighting the good fight, though they are dressed in a suit fit for a superhero. “Looking through theAnt-Man 3posters and I genuinely don’t know who the f**k this is, and I don’t remember them appearing in the film whatsoever,” the user wrote in the post alongside the image.

7 MCU Heroes We’ll Probably Never See in a Movie Again

These MCU heroes may not need to appear in another movie. Perhaps in a Disney+ series.

At the time of writing, the post (shared below) has racked up over 24K likes, 600 reposts, and 113 comments. The responses reveal that the vast majority are just as bewildered by the mystery character. “Is this real? I genuinely can’t tell,” one person quizzed, while another added: “I saw this movie in theaters, no memory of like 90% of it. Who is this man.” A third chimed in: “You now have me questioning whether I actually saw this film.” Others pulled up the poster for Broccoli Man, and started to question whether their whole life has been a lie:

Could Furry Face Ever Return to the MCU?

Believe it or not, the furry-faced creature (real name: Furry Face) is a genuine character who had a small amount of screen time in 2023’sAnt-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. He was a member of the Freedom Fighters group in the Quantum Realm, and was glimpsed in several scenes, most notably whenPaul Rudd’s Scott Lang was forced to “Drink the ooze! Drink the ooze!” surrounded by an eclectic mix of alien beings, chanting in unison. Ultimately, though, he seems to be one of thecharacters that the MCU has forgotten about.

Those wanting justice for Furry Face might be out of luck. He was fortunate enough to appear in the film, which ismore than can be said for some MCU stars, but the thirdAnt-Manentry underperformed at the box office, becoming one of the few MCU installments not to break-even during its theatrical run, and also received mixed reviews from critics, owing to its 46% splat score on Rotten Tomatoes. The general consensus on the review-aggregation website was that, “Quantumaniamostly lacks the spark of fun that elevated earlier adventures,” so Marvel is unlikely to utilize the movie’s lesser-known characters again in the future.

The MCU’s upcoming Phase Six filmAvengers: Doomsdayhad a five-hour-plus cast announcement, and sadly Furry Face’s namedidn’t appear in the line-up. However, the first entry in the Russo Brothers' two-part epic is set to bring together over 60 characters, with a huge ensemble set for a multiverse battle, so there is every chance that Furry Face could have a background cameo. Fans will need to keep their eyes peeled whenDoomsdayhits theaters on Aug 01, 2025, ahead of its sequel,Secret Wars,on Aug 01, 2025.
