Millie Bobby Brownmay be in the dark about how the final season ofStranger Thingsconcludes, but she does know the fate of her character, Eleven. During a recent interview with Capital (viaGamesRadar), Brown shared how she learned what would happen to Eleven during the upcoming season after she “kind of forced” herself into the writers' room.
“Well I haven’t read the end, I know what happens to my character because I kind of forced myself into the writers' room. I messaged the directors and said ‘Can I come over and have a meeting with you’ and then I came over and there was a whiteboard.”

She added:
“I saw my ending and thought, ‘Oh’, and then I walked away very slowly.”
Stranger Things
Inspired by 80s pop-culture and elements of Stephen King’s works, Stranger Things is a supernatural action-drama TV series set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. When a young boy goes missing, his group of friends stumbles upon a young girl with telekinetic powers who recently escaped from a mysterious facility. They soon realize that she may be their only chance at stopping an impending doom that threatens to engulf Hawkins whole.
While that’s certainly not a spoiler,Stranger Thingsfans will likely draw their own conclusions following Brown’s comments.

During an interview onThe Jonathan Ross Show, while promoting her most recent film,Damsel, Brown said that while she was aware of Eleven’s fate, she would never reveal that information out of respect for Netflix:
“I really like Netflix and I’d like to be employed by them for a very long time. I signed a piece of paper that says I’m not going to say anything, and I think I owe it to them to keep my mouth shut,” she said.

Stranger Things' Season Five: There’s Still A Long Wait for the Upside Down Showdown
During that interview, Brown also shared thatStranger Thingswould be filming for at least another nine months. Of course, this sets season five’s premiere date further into the future, which is sad news for series fans who have eagerly been awaiting season five (season four concluded in July 2022). While that is a very lengthy wait, series co-creator Matt Duffer teased an incredible final season:
“This season – it’s like season one on steroids. It’s the biggest it’s ever been in terms of scale, but it has been really fun, because everyone’s back together in Hawkins: the boys and Eleven interacting more in line with how it was in season one,” he said.

The final chapter of Netflix’sStranger Thingswill see Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Sadie Sink, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Maya Hawke, Joe Keery, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, David Harbour, Winona Ryder, and Jamie Campbell Bower back to reprise their characters.
