Cinefix’s Homemade Movies series has put together a wonderful DIY version ofBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justicetrailer, using some simple costumes and homemade props and models. We even have a side-by-side comparison to the actual trailer, which shows the level of detail they tried to achieve on a shoestring budget. If that wasn’t enough, we also have a behind-the-scenes video that shows how they put it all together.

MinionsMeet Hitler

In Universal’s blockbusterMinions, the story takes place long before they ever found their leader Gru, showing the other “despicable” world leaders they served under. There is one glaring omission, though, whichFunny or Dieshines some light on in a hilarious alternate trailer. That’s right, theMinionsserved under Hitler. While this is just a parody, it does bring up a good point, since the movie shows so many infamous leaders except for the worst of them all.

Fight ClubGets a G-Rated Animated Parody

TheFine Brothersare back with another inventive video, putting a G-rated, animated spin on the R-rated, live-action classicFight Club. This version of the story portrays Tyler, Marla and the rest of these characters as eight-year-old kids, who attend a support group for cooties. They also have a much different use for soap in this version, which is highly-entertaining and well worth a look-see.

Dwayne Johnson’s IMDB Page Through the Year 2047

You may have noticed thatDwayne Johnsonhas become attached to so many projects lately it’s hard to even keep track of them.Vulturehas certainly taken note, creating their own version of the actor’s IMDB page through the year 2047. This page features some of his actual projects, like theBig Trouble in Little Chinaremake,Rampage,Fast & Furious 8andShazam!along with numerous fake projects likeMagic Mike: Magnum, theFast & Furiousspinoff Law Man, where he stars as Luke Hobbs and a live-action version ofAladdinwhere he plays the Genie. TransformersTransforming Birthday Cake

Russell Munro’s young son asked forTransformers-themed party for his sixth birthday, so his father decided to “up the ante” and build him a special cake, that actually transforms. While the mother made the actual cake, dad used a 3D printer to construct an Optimus Prime platform that transforms from the iconic semi truck to a standing robot. We also have a video that shows how his platform works without the cake. It looks like we have another candidate for Father of the Year on our hands.

Star WarsMeetsDaft Punkin Darth Punk

Infectious Designerhas put together two fascinating videos that combines the music ofDaft Punkwith a uniqueStar Warsstory inDarth Punk. The video followsDarth Vaderand Boba Fett disguised as an electronic music duo, as they track down a mysterious woman who turns out to be a Jedi. Along with the five-minute short, we have a one-minute prequel and a behind-the-scenes video that shows how this fascinating short film/music video was put together.

Rick and Morty’sBack to The FutureMashup

WithBack to The Futurecelebrating its 30th Anniversary this year, a lot of people are revisiting this timeless classic.Yalda Mhas put together a wonderful mashup of the hit animated showRick and Morty, splicing in a few lines of dialogue fromBack to The Future. Anyone who’s seenRick and Mortyknows there are several parallels between the title characters andBack to The Future’s Doc and Marty, and it’s fun to see both properties mashed up in an inventive way.
