Daniel Atlas),Woody Harrelson(Merritt McKinney) andDave Franco(Jack Wilder) all reprise their roles from 2013’sNow You See Me, withLizzy Caplancoming aboard as the new Horseman, Lula, replacingIsla Fisher’s Henley Reeves. This trailer also briefly introduces us to the Horsemen’s new adversary inNow You See Me 2, Walter Mabry, played byDaniel Radcliffe.
The Four Horsemen (Jesse Eisenberg,Woody Harrelson,Dave Franco,Lizzy Caplan) return for a second mind-bending adventure, elevating the limits of stage illusion to new heights and taking them around the globe. One year after outwitting the FBI and winning the public’s adulation with their Robin Hood-style magic spectacles, the illusionists resurface for a comeback performance in hopes of exposing the unethical practices of a tech magnate. The man behind their vanishing act is none other than Walter Mabry (Daniel Radcliffe), a tech prodigy who threatens the Horsemen into pulling off their most impossible heist yet. Their only hope is to perform one last unprecedented stunt to clear their names and reveal the mastermind behind it all.
We reported last year thatDaniel Radcliffe’s Walter is the son ofMichael Caine’s character, Arthur Tressler, who is returning for this sequel. The supporting cast also includesMorgan Freeman(Thaddeus Bradley) andMark Ruffalo(Dylan Rhodes) reprising their roles from the original movie. New cast members includeJay Chou,Sanaa Lathan, Henry Lloyd-Hughes and Justine Wachsberger, although no details have been given regarding their characters thus far.

Joe Retaliation) is directing from a script byEd Solomon, who co-wrote the originalNow You See Me, and Pete Chiarelli (The Proposal).Alex KurtzmanandRoberto Orcialso return to produce this magical follow-up, alongside Bobby Cohen. Lionsgate has set a July 23, 2025 release date forNow You See Me 2, which will go up against Universal’s highly-anticipated video game adaptationWarcraftand New Line’s horror sequelThe Conjuring: The Enfield Poltergeist.
Now You See Metook in over $117 million domestic during its theatrical run in 2013, with a worldwide tally of $351.7 million from a $75 million budget.Now You See Me 2does face some stiff competition, so it we’ll have to see if it can out-perform its predecessor when it hits theaters next summer.
