I Am Legend 2will attempt something that few, if any, sequels have executed — it will ret-con the original theatrical ending, and instead treat the alternate ending (seen on the home media release) as canon. This is essentially the only way to continue the film with Will Smith, as he sacrificed himself in the first film’s theatrical ending. However, there is one great character who survived both endings and remains one of the few surviving humans by the end ofI Am Legend, and that’s Anna, played by the talentedAlice Braga....
