Rebecca Ferguson is best knownfor her role as the mysterious Ilsa Faust in theMission: Impossiblefranchise. She first joined the Tom Cruise-led series back in 2015’sMission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, and has since emerged as both the romantic interest and equal to Cruise’s unstoppable secret agent Ethan Hunt. Ferguson reprized the role forMission: Impossible – Fallout, and last year’sMission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, in which she was killed by Esai Morales’ villain, Gabriel.

Rebecca Ferguson went viral for her comments about being screamed at by an “absolute idiot” costar, but says she never intended it to be a whodunit.
After much speculation, thePeaky Blindersmovie, which will continue on from the acclaimed BBC series,was officially confirmed just last month. Plot details currently remain unknown, but creator Steven Knight did release a statement in which he teased the Peaky Blinders “at war.”
“I’m genuinely thrilled that this movie is about to happen. It will be an explosive chapter in the Peaky Blinders story. No holds barred . Full-on Peaky Blinders at war.”
Cillian Murphy Will Return for the Peaky Blinders Movie
Following even more speculation, it has also now been confirmed that the show’s lead actor and recentAcademy Award winner Cillian Murphywill also return and reprise the role of gang leader Tommy Shelby. The actor has since released a statement of his own, and calls the movie “one for the fans.”
“It seems like Tommy Shelby wasn’t finished with me. … It is very gratifying to be recollaborating with Steven Knight and Tom Harper on the film version of Peaky Blinders . This is one for the fans.”
Debuting back in 2013,Peaky Blindersfollows Cillian Murphy as Thomas ‘Tommy’ Shelby, the dangerous leader of the Peaky Blinders, a criminal gang based in Birmingham in 1919. The series came to an end with its sixth season in 2022, and sees Tommy riding off into the sunset with the world believing him dead. This seemingly conclusive ending led many to believe that the journey was now over for Tommy, but evidently this is not the case.
Plot details for thePeaky Blindersmovie remain under wraps at present, but creator Steven Knight has revealed that the movie willcenter on a “new generation” of characters, including some from the last season.
“In series six we’re bringing in the new generation, and they are going to be part of what happens in the film. I think it’s finding those actors that you just watch and you think, there you go. There’s the future.”
Peaky Blindersis available to stream on Netflix. Filming on the movie will reportedly begin in September.
