StarsLily JamesandSam Rileyare seen on this new one-sheet, both brandishing swords, preparing themselves for the zombie onslaught as the dead rise around them. Based on the iconic characters created by Jane Austen, this adaptation ofSeth Grahame-Smith’s novel puts a unique spin on a literary classic.

InPride and Prejudice and Zombies, a zombie outbreak has fallen upon the land in Jane Austen’s classic tale of the tangled relationships between lovers from different social classes in 19th century England. Feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet (Lily James) is a master of martial arts and weaponry and the handsome Mr. Darcy (Sam Riley) is a fierce zombie killer, yet the epitome of upper class prejudice. As thezombieoutbreak intensifies, they must swallow their pride and join forces on the blood-soaked battlefield.

The zombie genre is more popular than ever these days, thanks to AMC’s wildly popular TV seriesThe Walking Dead, but the undead genre hasn’t had much traction on the big screen as of late. Last month, Paramount’sScouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypseopened with a paltry $1.8 million, debuting out of the top 10 in 12th place, and earlier this year,Maggie, starringArnold Schwarzenegger, took in less than $200,000 during its theatrical run.
