Awards season doesn’t really begin until theRazziesenter the fray. Although there are notable nods for Marvel and DC, it isSylvester StalloneandJason Stathamwho lead the industry’s least desired awards table, with the combination ofThe Expend4blesandMeg 2: The Trenchbringing ten nominations between them.

While Stallone’s supposedlast outing as Barney Rossin the fourthExpendablesmovie pulled in seven of those nominations on its own, his costar Statham has to be held accountable considering he was the new franchise lead. Both movies are among the nominees for Worst Picture, and they both get acting nods too; Stallone for his “supporting” role in his own franchise, and Statham because they clearly could not nominate a giant CGI shark.

There are a flurry of movies that have also picked up a less than complimentary amount of nods, with David Gordon Green’sThe Exorcist: Believerand the public domain IP raidingWinnie the Pooh: Blood and Honeyboth gaining 5 nominations, which includes Worst Picture and Worst Director, but surprisingly no appearances in the acting categories. Both movies do, however, feature in the Worst Couple category, withthe slasher team-up of Pooh and Pigleton one side, and, to quote, “Any 2 Money-Grubbing Investors Who Donated to the $400 Million for Remake Rights toThe Exorcist” on the other.

Elsewhere,Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniapicked up 4 nods, including ones for veteran stars Michael Douglas and Bill Murray, andShazam! Fury of the Godsdrew the short straw for DC with the same number, which also singled out a mainstay of the industry, Dame Helen Mirren, along with Lucy Liu.
