Ryan Reynoldshas shared a new, if perhaps overly close, look atDeadpool 3to celebrate the completion of filming on the highly anticipated MCU movie. After being delayed for months as a result of last year’s strikes, the final scenes are now in the can – which will come as a relief to those who are still trying to avoid set-leak images like they are playing a game of Floor is Lava.
Bringing backHugh Jackmanas Wolverine,Deadpool 3is the only Marvel Cinematic Universe movie being released in theaters this year, but what a movie it is set to be. Having already delivered two massively successful movies in the Fox universe, Deadpool will now bring his own brand of R-rated, foul-mouthed violence to the formerly family-friendly franchise in a long overdue MCU debut.
In celebration of wrapping filming on the movie, Reynolds shared a gratuitous crotch shot of his Deadpool suit as he praised the team, and, of course, took a quick shot at his pal and costar Jackman. In his post, Reynolds said:
The suit hides the blood. Also sweat… But today, with Deadpoolwrapping, it’s mostly tears. A giant and forever thanks to the cast and crew of our film who battled wind, rain, strikes and Hugh Jackman…all under the stalwart leadership of Shawn Levy. I got to make a movie with my closest pals and that doesn’t happen very often. See ya July 26th…

So far, Marvel’s multiverse movies have been mostly a disappointment, with many promising so much but delivering very little.
