The story of John Kramer aka Jigsaw takes another dark turn inSaw X, the most recent entry in the popularhorrorseries, which first reactions are already calling one of the best in the franchise. Set between the events ofSawandSaw II, the new film brings back Tobin Bell as Kramer who, desperate for a cure for his illness, travels to Mexico in hopes of undergoing a miraculous but expensive treatment. Unfortunately, it turns out to be just a scam from a group of people who take advantage of those who no longer have options. Now, Kramer will put all his ingenuity into practice and take revenge as he knows how best, with his twisted games.

In addition to the return of Bell, the cast ofSaw Xalso brings back Shawnee Smith as Amanda Young, another important character for the saga. Joining them are Synnøve Macody Lund, Steven Brand, Michael Beach, Renata Vaca, Paulette Hernandez, Octavio Hinojosa, and Joshua Okamoto. The movie is directed by Kevin Greutert, who already worked on the franchise inSaw VIandSaw 3D, based on a script from Peter Goldfinger and Josh Stolberg.
