Mayansis still in the very early development process.Kurt Sutterdoesn’t want to talk about the project yet, and aside from the series focusing on the notorious Motorcycle gang, no firm plot details have been revealed. It isn’t known in which time period the series will take place. That will greatly affect the potential for formerSons of Anarchycast members to make an appearance.
OnSons of Anarchy, the Mayans were a rival motorcycle gang of SAMCRO’s. They consisted of mostly Mexican-American members, and were involved in the heroine distribution business. Marcus Alvarez (Emilio Rivera) led the Oakland charter, and the series began with the Mayans being adversaries of SAMCRO. That changes as the series continued on, as SAMCRO built a continuous working relationship with the Mayans both as business partners and when it came to turf wars.
