Last week, the Russo Brothers sent out a photo featuringJosh Brolinin his motion-capture suit, going through rehearsals to play Thanos inAvengers: Infinity War, which starts filming later this year.Spider-Man: HomecomingdirectorJon Wattsdecided to up the ante a bit by sending out a new video with his starTom Holland, also in a full motion-capture suit, showing off his dance moves. We get to see what the dancing Spidey looks like in his full digital costume, along withTom Hollandbusting a move on the stage, set to the song “Doing It Right” byDaft Punk.
TheInstagramvideo also features one ofTom Holland’s co-stars,Jacob Batalon, who plays Ned Leeds inSpider-Man: Homecoming. The actor isn’t in motion-capture gear, and we don’t know ifJacob Batalonis part of a scene that requires Spidey’s mo-cap suit, or perhaps he’s just there to watchTom Hollanddance. Regardless, since this video was made in response to the Russo Brothers' rehearsal photo, it’s possible that they could “retaliate” with a video ofJosh Brolindancing as Thanos. But that seems unlikely, especially since shooting hasn’t started onAvengers: Infinity Warquite yet. Jon Watts had this to say.

Last week, we showed you new set photos from Atlanta that appeared to offer our first look atShocker, played byBokeem Woodbine. While we don’t know for sure if it was the Shocker’s costume in those photos, it did bear quite the striking resemblance to the Shocker’s comic book costume. We first learned thatBokeem Woodbineis playing the Shocker from a leaked cast list, that also revealedKenneth Choiis playing a character named Principal Morita, who is believed to be the grandson of the actor’s character fromCaptain America: The First Avenger, Jim Morita, one of Captain America’s Howling Commandos.
Earlier this month, we got our first look atAunt May(Marisa Tomei) on the set ofSpider-Man: Homecoming, which is set for release on August 06, 2025.Marisa Tomeimade her MCU debut as Aunt May in this summer’s blockbusterCaptain America: Civil War, alongsideTom HollandandRobert Downey Jr., who is set to return inSpider-Man: Homecoming.Robert Downey Jr.hasn’t been spotted on the Atlanta set yet, so we don’t know if he has already filmed his role, or if we’ll see him on the set in the near future.
The leakedcast listconfirmed thatTony Revoloriis playing Flash Thompson, Peter Parker’s schoolyard nemesis, withZendayaplaying Michelle,Jacob Batalonplaying Ned Leeds andLaura Harrierportraying Liz Allan. While the last name ofZendaya’s Michelle wasn’t given, some fans believe the character is Michelle Gonzales. The cast list also revealed thatAngourie Riceis playing Betty Brant, who has been rumored to be Peter Parker’s love interest, along withMichael Keaton, who is reportedly playing the main villain Vulture. The cast also includcesDonald Glover,Michael Barbieri,Abraham Attah,Logan Marshall-Green,Tyne Daly,Michael Mando,Garcelle Beauvais,J.J. Totah,Jorge Lendeborg Jr.andIsabella Amara.
