Ever since production started in Atlanta on Marvel and Sony’sSpider-Man: Homecoming, there have been numerous photos from the set, showcasingTom Hollandboth in and out of costume. We’ve also gotten a few glimpses at some of his co-stars likeZendaya ColemanandTony Revolorias well, along withset photosthat showTom Hollandin action in an action-packed freeway scene. Today we have even more photos along with a brief video that gives us a closer look atTom Holland’s Spidey costume, while the web-slinger stops a bike thief.

The photos, which surfaced onTwitter, shows what is said to beTom Holland’s stunt double stopping a petty thief from stealing someone’s bike, although we don’t know much else about the scene. A brief video was also posted, which shows the stunt double stopping the thief on the sidewalk, while suspending him in midair with his web shooters. Naturally, Spidey’s webs will be added in post-production, and we don’t get a great look at this scene, which was presumably shot across the street from the action, but, if anything, it shows that no crime is too small forSpider-Manto stop.

While the production is taking place in Atlanta, we don’t know exactly where this scene is set. While we know a majority of the story will take place in New York City, a report from last month, that came with even more set photos, revealed that particular scene took place in Washington D.C., during a class field trip. The photos featuredSpideyswinging into action, jumping onto a cement truck. While these photos that surfaced today reportedy haveTom Holland’s stunt double in the suit, the photos from last month featuredTom Hollandhimself in costume. In related news, Sony Pictures chairmanTom Rothmanrecently spoke to IGN on theGhostbustersred carpet, where he had nothing but praise for this newSpider-Manmovie, while discussing the title.

“Here’s the thing I can tell you: We’re really, really fortunate on this because Marvel andKevin Feigehave really embraced the character, and nobody knows it as well as Marvel. It is another crown jewel of Sony’s for sure. It’s (the title) relevant to the story because it takes place in high school and there is a scene - that I guess I can give a little thing - at a homecoming dance. I’ve actually seen the dailies of it because we already did the high school shooting of it in the first couple weeks. It’s fantastic! But it’s also a homecoming to Marvel. And a homecoming to the cinematic universe thatSpider-Manbelongs in. So it’s a pretty unprecedented deal between two studios, but we’re really proud of it. And all I can tell you is, those guys at Marvel - I think the technical term is - they know their sh-t. He’s fantastic! This is it. This is that character in all of its youthful complications and I have to save the world and get my chemistry homework done.”

This newSpider-Manmade his MCU debut inCaptain America: Civil War, which has made over $1.1 billion since debuting in theaters this past May.Tom Hollandis first brought into this superhero universe byRobert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark, who recruits him to be part of Team Iron Man for this epic battle.Robert Downey Jr.has signed on to return inSpider-Man: Homecoming, whichTom Rothmansaid was very important to the movie as a whole.

“It’s very important. It’s wonderful commercially, but that’s not why. You can see the beginnings of the relationship that was established inCivil War, so it was very important from a character part of the story, and I think fans will really be rewarded by the character growth between them. It’s gonna be fun, I gotta say, we feel really, really lucky.”
