Sure.Star Wars: The Force Awakensjust arrived in theaters this weekend. But everything in our current digital age moves faster than the speed of light. So it’s onto the next one. And some of the stars ofStar Wars: Episode VIIIare just now beginning to tease it’s awesomeness. Will it be better thanStar Wars 7? Will it answer all the questions the sequel sets up? We have no idea. But we do know one returningStar Wars: The Force Awakenscast member that praises the work done by writer/directorRian Johnson. Speaking withVariety,Daisy Ridley, who plays Rey, reveals she has read the completed script.

It’s very good; very good. Let’s see “VII” first and then we’ll talk about “VIII.” [Laughs.]"

The Last Jedi

While original trilogy fans had to wait three years in-between each installment,Star Wars: Episode VIIIwill be in theaters in just a year and a half. And in the interim, we’re getting the spinoffRogue One: A Star Wars Story, which is a prequel to A New Hope. While principle photography doesn’t start until this spring,Rian Johnsonhas shot some scenes featuring the return ofMark HamillasMaster JediLuke Skywalker on Skellig Michael in Ireland. While we have no idea about the plot of the next one, it sounds like the new trio will return, withJohn Boyegareprising his role as Finn andOscar Isaaconce again playingPoe Dameron.

While it’s unclear what happened toGwendoline Christie’s Captain Phasma inStar Wars: The Force Awakens, she has also been confirmed to return, and will likely get a more substantial role this time around.Benicio Del Toroalso confirmed that he has joined the cast, and is presumed to be playing the villain. But no concrete information has been revealed about his character.

Star Wars

While there are plenty of big reveals, shocks and twists inStar Wars: The Force Awakens, it actually has us asking more questions than we got answers too. We still have no idea who Rey really is, or if her last name isSkywalkerorSolo. And we haven’t ruled out the possibility that she is part of the Kenobi blood line. And we still don’t know what her relationship toKylo Renis. We do know that she is strong with the force. And it does appear that she has had some training at some point in her life.

Another question that needs to be answered byStar Wars: Episode VIIIis who exactly abandoned Rey on Jakku? Was it her family, whom she says she is waiting for. Was it the Sith, you wanted to separate her from Luke Skywalker? Was she with Luke Skywalker as a child? If so, why doesn’t she remember any of it. And how much time will pass betweenStar Wars: The Force AwakensandStar Wars: Episode VIII? Will we get to see the moments immediately following Rey’s landing? Hopefully we’ll know the answers when the summer of 2017 roles around. Until then, we’ll just have to watch TFA a few more times.
