John Wick has dominated the box office with three entries, and the franchise has grossed more than half a billion dollars worldwide. In each film, The Continental Hotel in New York City has been featured as a key place for Wick and the other assassins. Back in 2017, a spin-off series was announced with very little information alongside the announcement. Here we are five years later, and the prequel will is starting to take shape. We know that ImageThe Continentalis set in New York during the 1970s sanitation strike and will follow a young Winston on his path to the steward of The Continental Hotel in New York. With it being a limited series, it is hard to say if the show will catch up to the current timeline of the films, but we are bound to get a pretty interesting backstory on the hotel and Winston and how he got involved with the world of deadly assassins. At this time, we do not have a release date.
