Before Damien Leone’sTerrifier 3hits theaters in October, the creative minds behind the franchise aredebuting the new horror movieStreamnext month, which features a plethoraof genre actors together in one placefor what promises to be a fun ride. Written, produced, and directed by Michael Levy,Stream’spractical gore FX will be handled by Phil Falcone andDamien Leone, who has directedall three films in theTerrifierseries thus far. David Howard Thornton, who portraysArt the Clown in Leone’s films, will star in the picture alongside a number of notable horror legends, including Dee Wallace, Jefferey Combs, and Tony Todd.

In a statement released toVariety, Levy callsStream“a modernized slasher made by horror fans for horror fans.”Shucking the traditional method of raising money for a movie by going through investors, the minds behindStreaminsteadturned to crowdfunding for the project, setting up a campaign on IndieGoGo which managed to raisemore than $180,000. He’s hoping that the same folks who showed upto makeTerrifier 2the success it becamewill again flock to theaters to seeStreamwhenit releases on August 23, 2025.

Streamfollows a family drifting apart that decides torekindle their bond by recreating the funthey had at an old vacation spot. The peaceful stay they’re looking for soon turns deadly, however,as four deranged killers are patrolling the halls of their hotel, looking to unleash mayhem and murder.
