New information about the next two episodes ofThe Mandalorianhas been revealed. In addition, we have received some new photos from the hit Disney+ series. Chapter 3 ofThe Mandalorianwent live late last night andStar Warsfans were busy refreshing their streaming devices to get going on the latest story. However, it seems like Disney still has some kinks to work out with their service. Regardless, fans seem to be pretty excited with the way things are moving.

Next week’s episode ofThe Mandalorianis going to feature our hero as he “teams up with an ex-soldier to protect a village from raiders.” From the image teasing the episode, it appears that we are going to get our first look atGina Carano as Cara Dune, a former Rebel Shock Trooper-turned-mercenary who fought in the civil war for the Rebel Alliance. Disney and Lucasfilm have not revealed any other details about next week’s episode, but Bryce Dallas Howard is behind the camera for it from a script Jon Favreau penned.

The following week’s episode ofThe Mandalorianwill show our hero as he “helps a rookie bounty hunter who is in over his head.” There is no image from this upcoming episode, but many are hoping that we’llfinally get to see comedian Bill Burrin Mandalorian armor since we have only seen him in the trailers thus far. Disney and Lucasfilm have been keeping a very tight lid on the series, which has seen Baby Yoda surge in popularity. It’s pretty amazing that they were able to keep that big of a secret for so long. Dave Filoni takes over directing and writing duties on this episode.

Along withBaby Yoda, there are a lot more surprises ahead forStar Warsfans inThe Mandalorian. It’s still unclear what Baby Yoda is and why so many people want him, but there have been some pretty interesting fan theories floating around. Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni have been able to create something that almost allStar Warsfans are enjoying, which is a pretty rare feat these days. The series is something new withjust enough nostalgiato keep things interesting.

The fact thatStar Warsfans are staying up until midnight or 3 AM in North America to devourThe Mandalorianproves just how well-received the series has been and we’re only three episodes in at this point in time. While some fans wish all of the episodes were available to binge, it has given people longer to digest, which has led to repeat viewings. When all is said and done,The Mandalorianwill be able to be binged all in one shot at the end of December.
