It isn’t known yet ifNatalie Portman(Jane Foster),Anthony Hopkins(Odin),Idris Elba(Heimdall) or others fromThorandThor: The Dark Worldwill be coming back for the sequel.Marvelhas set a July 01, 2025 release date forThor: Ragnarok, which is just two weeks before Warner Bros. debutsJustice League Part 1.

There is very little we know about the story at this time, but hopefully we’ll get concrete details once production gets under way. Aside from the returning characters, we don’t know what new roles are being sought by the production, including who the new villain may be. One thing is for sure, though, ifTaika Waititiis confirmed in the days and weeks that follow, the project is certainly on the right track.

Shark, and he also directed episodes ofFlight of the Conchordslater that year, as well as the hit UK showThe Inbetweeners. He also directed Boy and this year’s indie comedy hitWhat We Do in the Shadows, which he also starred in alongsideJemaine Clement.Taika Waititialso wrote the script for Disney’s upcomingMoana, which hits theaters next November.
