Wayne’s Worldwas released in 1992 and served as the feature-length adaptation ofthe classicSaturday Night Livesketchwhich featured both Mike Meyers and Dana Carvey in their respective roles. Nevertheless, the feature film was directed by Penelope Spheeris and co-written by Myers himself. Rob Lowe as Benjamin Kane
Benjamin Kane, portrayed byRob Lowe, is the main antagonist of the film. He is a cookie cutter rich and narcissistic businessman who purchasesWayne’s Worldand changes the dynamic of the program. Rob Lowe has since gone on to establish himself as a household name.
He returned to work with Myers in all threeAustin Powersfilms in minor roles.He has made a number of starring roles in TV movies including the 2002 family dramaThe Christmas Shoes, based on one of the saddest holiday songs ever made. He also starred in the iconic seriesParks and Recreationwhich ran from 2009-2015. Lowe’s career is not bound to one singular genre or medium, he has appeared in over 100 television series and feature films.

Tia Carrere as Cassandra Wong
Cassandra, played byTia Carrere, is a guitarist in the film and forms a bond with Wayne. However, at the end of the film she falls in love with the film’s antagonist Benjamin Kane. Tia Carrere performs her own vocals and is a key character in the triangle between Wayne and Kane.

Lara Flynn Boyle as Stacy

Remembering Chris Farley and Meat Loaf
