Wonder Woman

Patty Jenkins has been hard at work onWonder Woman 1984since 2018. While fans were bummed to see the release date switch, it gave the director some time to exhale and spend some extra time crafting the storyline and getting everything just right. As for the year 1984, Jenkins doesn’t go into too much detail, but she does say it ties into history at that time. The early 80s was a time of excess before everything came crashing down and it draws parallels to our world today.

Gal Gadot and Patty Jenkins were prepared to share someWonder Woman 1984footage at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, but Warner Bros. decided to sit this year out, so they were not able to deliver the goods at that time. When the studio made the announcement, which was in June, Jenkins revealed that December would be the official start date for promotion on the sequel. Thankfully, we’re only a few days away from the first official footage dropping. you may check out the trailer announcement forWonder Woman 1984below, thanks to theFandom Twitteraccount.
