Despite recently confirming that she won’t be returning as Domino forDeadpool 3,Zazie Beetzstill has a lot to show for herself in the world of comics. On the one hand, the star of the most recent season ofBlack Mirrorwill return to the DC universe inJoker: Folie a Deux, the long-awaited sequel to the film starring Joaquin Phoenix, although she does not play any character coming from the comics.

For this reason, the actress still has the opportunity to become a heroine beyond the lucky mutant. In a recent interview with Inverse, promoting her episode in the new installment of the Netflix show, Beetz confessed that her dream role in the world of superheroes is Catwoman:

Catwoman banters with the Penguin in Batman Returns

“She’s just so iconic, and it’s already been done so many times. I don’t know, she’s just cool, and I feel like I am a cat at heart myself.”

Catwoman recently appeared inThe Batman, played by Zoe Kravitz. However since Matt Reeves' universe will be outside of James Gunn’s new canon, the character could appear in the future with another actress behind her and Zazie Beetz would be an interesting choice, based on what she has shown inDeadpool.

InJoker: Folie a Deux, Beetz will reprise the role of Sophie, a character that many fans thought died in the first film, so it’s uncertain how she will return in the sequel. Joining her and Phoenix will be Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn, since the movie will be a musical.
